Sacred Sites and Sounds Journeys into the Magic & Mystery of Kaua’i
We, Antion and Elandra, find ourselves being invited to lead groups and individuals into the inner realms of this amazing island experience. She, the Garden Island, oldest island of the chain, highest undersea mountain in the world, where rainfall is greater than anywhere in the world, and the largest crystal lives…Kauai, is indeed a place of extraordinary beauty, power and magic. She is said to be the remains of the ancient Motherland, called by some, Mu, or Le Muria… It is said that there were crystal mountains where initiates teleported to become Kahuna ( keeper of the secrets)- who could travel between worlds, heal instantly, connect directly to the Source, the Creator, who understood the secrets of navigation through oceans in canoes, and through the inner worlds to the stars…
It has also been a place that has kept its deepest secrets to itself.
Until now, until recently…
From New Zealand, (Elandra’s country) came forth the news of a prophecy that said that when the stars were aligned in a certain way it would be time to tell the true history of the migrating peoples of the world. That time is now here, say the wisdom keepers of Aoteroa. The truth will be opened to all who love. To those who are called to love the land, and honor it, those who love the ancient knowledge, chants, hula and wish to learn.
They wrote a chant for Antion, especially for him. And we were amazed at this. He was accepted, he was initiated and named. The chant speaks of how he came to the islands looking for love, -Aloha- and how finally through seeking and discipline and humility, it was granted to him by the grace of the energies that invited him here. This very special, moving chant of initiation into Aloha you will hear Antion chant for you, as he welcomes you to the sound current of Aloha in its deepest ‘kaona’, level of meaning.
Here in Kauai, you feel at home, and have the sense that you belong here, and that vast possibilities are at hand. . .Why do so many feel ‘called ‘to come to Kaua’i? Why do you cry and experience ‘chicken skin’ upon hearing the hula, chants, music and seeing the movements of ancient hula, and feel a sense of longing, and of awakening, and feel like a fog is being lifted from your inner vision?
This day, through our life’s calling, (Antion and Elandra, and over 10 years of study living here), you will come this day, to understand, feel and know this as your home too. Hear Elandra’s chant of welcome to the ancient Motherland, and feel through her hand the touch of welcome to this healing island. Feel also the invitation of the island to heal, change or transform any part of your being that is ready in this moment… as Elandra’s life’s work is about participating in, and precipitating, miracle healings.

We acknowledge with gratitude the work of Francis Warther who has spent 20 years researching and intuiting the underlying meanings of the Heiaus, the hula and chant, and is as yet unpublished.
The Wailua complex of the four points of the diamond is the place known, according to cultural astronomer Francis Warther, as the place of incarnation, not only for Hawaii but the whole of Polynesia. From Poliahu at the top of the mountain to Hikina a Ka La on the beach it formed a barrier to catch the entire aspect of the sun, horizon-to-horizon, summer to winter. All sacred sites were directly connected to each other, and it is said that the ley line alignments at the time of the zenith caused manifestation of the highest order. The navigators in the Pacific searched for a place to live where the sun had the most mana, (spiritual power)..They crossed the oceans looking for the Sacred birthing Cord of the World…The star Venus led them, she came with the sun and set with the sun. They knew the sun is the marker for the Goddess, an invitation not to observe but to receive…
Now we want you to experience the ancient chant and hula as you are aligned to Venus, the Goddess of Aloha, of Love. As a dancer or observer/receiver, you are participating in the opening of a gateway. All the sound s and words, specific positioning of the feet, tell a story, and also are encoded to tell a deeper story. Francis Warther says, ‘Hula is about the planet Venus, ‘Hoku ka Lani,’ the Goddess of love. It is about bringing her forth, channeling her presence, incarnating her, becoming her aspects, becoming Aloha, love. You are setting up a pathway to go there, to Venus…there is no culture that did not honor Venus as the Goddess of love. The ancient Hula is about the coming of the Goddess…as a dancer or observer/receiver, you are participating in the opening of a gateway. You are being lined up, aligning yourself.
The hula, known as the dance of sacred love, connects with Venus. The twin deities of the hula, Laka and Kapo, are expressions of Venus as the morning star and Venus as the Evening Star respectively. The fusion of this power in a person’s body connects through the piko (navel) and through the two tropics, which in turn connects you to the ancestors. In the dance of hula lies the play out of the time of the feminine in sacred space. Below the waist on the dancer’s body represents south of the equator, the waist itself is the equator, and above it is the Northern tropic. To me, navigation is a dance, a journey that allows you multi-dimensional viewpoints in space and time. And Venus, acting in its capacity of love in time, is pre eminent in maintaining mana.’
And now, we will learn to chant together that you may feel the power of the chant and hear your own voice empowering itself. We will learn some hula positions that will serve to connect you with the sacred Aloha, no matter where on the planet you are…
